General Appointment Information
An initial consultation and treatment will last approximately two hours; all follow up visits will last approximately one hour, although this is dependent on the specific case. It is asked that you properly prepare for your appointment by:
1) Wearing loose fitting and easily manipulated clothing to allow for proper access to the body i.e. the arms, legs (above the knee), abdomen, and back.
2) Making sure you eat normally at least an hour before your appointment and remain properly hydrated.
Cancellation Policy
ATHOS Wellness thrives on patient-centered care, and takes seriously the time spent between patient and practitioner. When this shared therapeutic time and space is disrupted it has the potential to affect the various elements of a treatment. All scheduled patients are expected to arrive on time for their appointment, and are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early. While unexpected circumstances such as emergencies and inclement weather are unpredictable and understandable, the following policy is generally adhered to:
All cancellations or rescheduling should be made at the minimum of 48 hours before an appointment. In the event that an appointment is cancelled outside of this time frame, or is ignored all together, a charge for a full visit will be implemented. A late fee will also be charged for any arrival over 15 minutes of the scheduled appointment. Any exceptions to this policy must be discussed with your practitioner.
